While the new spines could look better, things could be much, much worse. Remember the launch games for PS1? With those gargantuan cases that couldn't fit on many shelves? Makes me glad I wasn't an early adopter to the machine.

yea, at least the sony didnt decide to go ahead and put their games into some regular sized dvd cases. that would be the worstest.
i have the same problem all my ps3 games has the old logo and tekken 6 has the new one and it doesn 't look nice around red but still as much more games i will purchase in the future it will look beter i already imagine having star ocean and bayoneta

It seems like PS3 games is heading towards the direction of this design. Expect all future PS3 games to have the same logo and design. IMO I preferred the old design better, having PLAYSTATION written on the left-hand side of the cover makes it shinier and hence cooler. That said, you guys should petition Sony not to go forward with this new PS3 disc case design, somehow it looks a whole lot crummier.

Why do you offer it in that fashion for HD games but not Nintendo games???
OT: It's pretty sad if you're gonna miss out on a game you want just because of something like that...
