Great measure, I always found that some comments calling certain games complete exclusives annoying given that I can play them perfectly in PC. This rule ensures there's no discrimination against gaming platforms, and I'm glad it's being enforced

...this rule might not be as good for the PC as you think....

Zen, no one gives a damn. Stop trying to start crap. This is a thread to define a rule, so rather than start a pissing contest ask a legitimate question or piss off.

Ok legitimate question here. If it's a console exclusive doesn't that mean the PC WONT get it. Same way PS3 doesnt' get 360/Wii exclusives. Shouldn't it be MS exclusive just like HD exclusive. Do PS3/PC even share any "console exclusives"? So I think MS exclusive or something to that affect is better. Or just stick with exclusives since no one cares about PC anyway.

Good measure. This should help reduce misleading thread titles and clean up discussion.

I think I'm in love with naznatips. The way you talk to people. It's so sexy and domineering. Can I have your babies... oh wait I can't have babies.

This thread is so much win that i almost wet my pants. Im a strong believer of this rule and for it to finally come to an end is just mind blowingly awesome rapped around sugar coated unicorns stuffed with awesomness.

nevermind.

To be clear about this, you wouldn't just say "console exclusive." You would say "This game is a PS3 console exclusive" (for example DC Universe online). This says that the game is available to be played only on the PS3 as a console, but that's not the only gaming platform it's available on. That lets people get a clearer understanding of where games are actually available during list wars, while not elimintating the ability to differentiate between varrying experiences available on home consoles.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

Sounds like the fairest way to do it. Good explanation. That does kinda suck for 360 fans, but that's fine cause I'm a PS3 fanboy anyway.

I do have a serious question. With Microsoft releasing Natal next year. 3rd parties are going to be releasing patches to their games. I'm not sure if you would consider these ports(since your definition is "Ports are generally the same generation and a transfer to another platform with minor changes" And I see this as a pretty major differences) or exclusives. What is your take on this, Naznatips?

Wasn't a member recently banned because he mentioned that ME2 wasn't exclusive?
