Do you think the super Wii will push as many polygons as a high end 5000 series amd card? This will make them somewhat competitive with the future console of MS.

Or will they just try to match the current 360 graphics, and start to get some HD ports right away.  This would keep their price down but also help the 360 have a longer lifespan.

It will depend on the kind of system they want. If it's a system the size and cost of the Wii, that would depend on the specs that can be squeezed into that size and cost.

Depends on when it is released. Before 2011, no. Early 2012, maybe. Later 2012 or 2013+, most definitely.

i can build a $250 PC more powerful than a PS3 right now. And i'm sure Nintendo would get discounts for buying in bulk, plus in 2011-2012, I can build a PC as powerful as the PS3 for under $150, but electronics don't go down in price much further than that because even though stuff is a lot more powerful, the weak stuff still costs a lot to produce. In 2011 for $250-$300, You should be able to have a computer with an excellent processor and Radeon 5000 series graphics card, in other words, the top of the line computer of today.
