Good to see developers focusing either completely on Wii or PS3/360 development and taking advantage of the tech available, since you can't realistically develop the same game for all three.

That said, it may get a few more sales because it's Disney, and it may be a phenomenal game, but I don't see it selling well.

I do not understand the reason why you think the game will not sale well? Do you believe that it will lack advertising or it will be a bad game? Please enlighten me.

Pretty simple.  Most good games don't sell the quantities they should :P.  Especially true on the Wii.  I think it's too niche for the main userbase.

Time will tell.

Huh? A Mickey Mouse game is too niche? What?

I've argued with you about this several times with regard to where KH3 will end up: Just because Mickey Mouse is in a game doesn't therefore automatically make the game "casual". Mickey mouse and casual are not mutually exclusive. You say games like Madworld are "niche". Toss Mickey Mouse in there as the main character...is Madworld therefore casual and would sell gangbusters?

Not saying that violence in games in the answer, but it's gotten pretty old from you assuming that Mickey = Casual = sell billions

I didn't finish the vid...did he say it was similar to Infamous kinda? I actually likeed that game from the demo I played at Wal Mart lol.

The game's supposed to be an action/platformer/RPG mixed in one.

He didnt need to, the way he explained choosing the path you want to go and having your friends and people reaction depending on the choices you make in the game, that's infamous right there. There won't be a real evil Mickey, but he will be naughty.

You don't think most of the people who bought Kingdom Hearts did so because it was Disney based?

Cause... that was probably the reason.  Pretty much everyone i knew who told me it was a good game (I actually didn't get it specifically because it was disney) weren't RPG fans in the slightest and pretty much bought it because of Disney.

I mean heck, if you look at the Kingdom Hearts Commercial you don't even know what the game is about... except there is a bunch of disney characters and some kid wearing ridiculious shoes.

I bought KH because not only it has mickey and Donald, but it has disney MOVIE characters who I've known from some of the most beloved movies.

if it's just Mickey and Donald, I would take a pass.

I'm surprised the "KH3 on Wii or ps3/360?" debate didn't begin anew in this thread.

Oh no, what have I done!

I was hoping no one would mention it :( What have you done?

In two years it will be revealed that KH3 was originally a PS3 title and moved to Wii! Mwa ha ha!

Didnt you become a Wii fan based on rumors that Kingdom hearts 3 was going to that consoleand then earlier today you said bout who carse about KH3 when it wont be anounced for yeats?

Well you do

;)

Yeah but the core demographic of ps3 owners, for example, is age 30. 30 year olds actually experienced mickey. We've seen mickey in black and white, played it on the NES, and been around to see most of the disney movies in theaters.
I haven't seen a mickey movie come out in theaters in many years. why would an HD demographic be wrong?

I think the demographic explains a lot, but BMaker is right, Mickey=/= casual imo

EDIT: hmm, although wii=/= casual either....o well there's a point in there somewhere.

So is this game.  This game has a lot more then just Mickey and Donald.  It's based off a bunch of random stuff floating around Disney.

But your more going to my point then boilermakers which i've seen other people make that infact the Disney thing wasn't the games biggest selling point.
