Well at least Nintendo haven't forgotten about it. Doesn't look like they're any closer to getting off their asses and actually making a StarFox game though.

Oh please, make a new Star Fox as the awesome shadow of lylat project !!! We don't want Fox on the ground, we want damn epic space opera dogfights !
And bring the old StarFox SNES on VC, it's one of my favorite SNES game so far
Good to hear someone at N mentioning the name at least, the wiimote seems like it would lend itself very well to star fox controls imo. hopefully shadow of lylat stays alive too :)

I really want to see Star Fox SNES on VC too. That game was awesome and soooo hard too, I remember Macbeth giving me a lot of trouble back in the days.
Signature goes here!
I had to look up star fox and see what the fuss was about :p
The space battles are chock full of crazy stuff going on in the background. Stay focused!

to me that is the biggest barrier to star fox wii, there is no star fox team. to me the most likely is retro. EAD are pretty busy so i dont see a star fox from them for at least 2 years if they are making one. maybe EAD1 is doing it but i think they may be doing wii fit
nintendo fanboy, but the good kind
proud soldier of nintopia
Starfox Adventures took a game that was previously a rail shooter and made it into a Zelda clone. Starfox Assault (I finally bought it last week) had horrid tank/ foot levels. Starfox Command had bland graphics and forced us to use touch screen controls.
Make the Starfox that we want and we'll buy it. Name recognition is good, but the games have to deliver.

EAD1 was doing Wii Fit Plus, but that couldn't have taken up much of their resources. I do think that that's what they'll end up working on, with EAD2 on Wii Vitality and EAD4 on Pikmin 3.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Wii Fit Plus was done by EAD 1 (educated guess) and it would have taken 20 people max to develop. They are due to release something else next year. Could very well be Star Fox.
edit: Looks like I was beaten :P
