If you already have gold this makes no difference. psn still has a long way before it is equal to live.

Rubbish imo. All the psn advantages seem to be conveniently ignored and only the xbox lives advantages seem to count.

Nope.  It is actually that all the Xbox Live advantages are ignored because PSN is "close enough" according to some PS3 fans.  In reality XBL is still quite a bit better in many areas, and rightly so for the added cost.  Well worth it, imo.
