I dont see why it isn't    DD/MM/YY

America does it one way most of the world does it the other, this website should probably go with the majority.

Perhaps we should be able to choose the date format in our "Edit Profile" section.

I think all of these preferences warrant a "Preferences" tab in Edit Profile.

^ yeah thats a good idea. Aswell as that the time is wrong for most people on this site. I agree these things should be able to be personalised.
