it is a different sport i watch american footy on five and baseball before they lost the rights here in the uk,and they are both great sports IMO......they make a great noise at times.....

Also you have to bear in mind the amount of soccer games played worldwide compared to American football, proportionally you are going to get lot more of the mentally challenged thugs.

I'm a huge American Football supporter and fanatic. Just the other month I went to watch them play. The reason there is no cheering is because its so melodic and mellow. You can't expect everything to be like a Rolling Stones show.
