"We need to talk about it, son"

Don't worry Wii owners without uber expensive HD development costs this game is sure to already be profitable and sequel will be coming next year together with interviews with interviews with developer how are they happy about sales of their title.
See i can do sarcasm too ;)

Expect the next one on NATAL. Spielberg was part of Mircrosoft's E3 presentation, so that's where Boom Blox is headed. 110k is gonna look like a blockbuster compared to the amount of people that buy it on the 360, especially with the HD development costs. I wish it would disappear from every system personally. Not my thing at all.
They named it Boom Blox: Smash Party in Europe. I don't understand why it doesn't sold more in Europe than in America with this name.

Should of thrown in a Mario cameo and bam, million seller.
| FreeTalkLive said: Horrible name. It should have been called Boom Blox 2. No ads. The first game was advertised. No hype. The first game was hyped. Hardly an improvement. The improvements would have likely been just download content if it was an HD game. Not needed. Boom Blox was still selling well when the 2nd game came out and Boom Blox was lowered priced. What this game needed was big improvements, hype, marketing and to be released after Boom Blox stopped selling well. However, since there wasn't marketing and the game is mostly the same, I'm sure EA made a ton of money off the game. |
Too many B's (Boom Blox Bash.... Party)
Boom Blox 2 would've been fine. With a two, people know the first one was good enough to a sequel, which is probably better.
The words "Bash Party" could make people think it is a spin-off, or a different game all together.

Really? I thought it was due to no one knowing about the game.... |
Upon its release,I saw ads for it placed near the counter of my Gamestop, and there were some internet ads, so it got something..
There were also commercials airing during 4KidsTV programming.

Don't be delusional. No matter how many minigame compilations and party games flop on the Wii, there will always be new ones. Only "hardcore" games have to go through tests. If crap doesn't sell, they continue to make crap and expect a different result. Boom Blox may be dead, but the next EA party game is already in development. |
