Personally 2009 was fine for me. Halo ODST, Forza 3, and soon MW2. Thats enough for someone with a college budget. 2010 will be great too. Splinter Cell, Mass Effect 2, Halo:Reach, Gears of War 3??!!, Alan Wake, etc... 2010 will break me.

It's been a good year for the PS3. Killzone 2!, MLB:the show (a truly great game), Infamous, Uncharted 2, Demons souls, Ratchet & Clank etc.

I dont see how its been bad for 360 at all: Halo Wars + ODST, Forza, LFD2 and GTA Expansions make it a bloody good year IMO

That said the PS3 has had better years as well. Only a few games jump out and say "I'm good". But the 360 has had a few really fun games that I enjoyed thoroughly Ninja Blade*,Magna Carta 2*, Halo Wars, and Darkest of Days*

Plus I haven't been able to play more exclusives like Halo 3: ODST, Forza 3, Qubed, and Grand Theft Auto IV: Liberty City Stories. All around I think the 360 has released a lot of hidden gems that some people fail to see.

Plus they have released even more great exclusive XBLA games. Perfect Dark, South Park, and Shadow Complex plus a lot more.

*games that I have played, but still need to buy

2009 was a rough year...full of alot of future promise, but the year itself was a bit of a mediorce one, especially after 2008. The bright side points to a really great 2010...

Well its definatly not the best year the 360 has ever had. But i agree the 360 has the best announced lineup so far in 2010.

Really?. Announced for PS3 so far are MAG, White Knight Chronicles, Quantum Theory, Modnation Racers, God of War 3, MLB:the show, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, Agent, The Last Guardian.

ps3 has had the better quality software this year.

i predict ps3 to have the better quality software in 2010 also.
