ps3 is your best bet. doesn't matter if you have a standard def tv, i have one and all my games/movies look amazing.

Wii- Family oriented
Xbox 360- Halo
PS3- Free multi, blu ray, awesome exclusives, wireless controls, huge memory for cheap etc etc

Get a PS3.

You are constantly trolling against the 360. And I would really like to see you drop the I'm unbiased card.

PS3 and 360 Elite are the same price, yet the PS3 can play blu ray movies, it has wifi and it's free for online ontop of it being able to play games.

Also, it seems like the PS3 is getting all the good games these days : )

+ the ps3 looks cooler and sounds quieter :D

I'm not trolling the 360.  The truth is it broke one month past warranty and Microsoft wanted $99 to fix it.

And it is supposed to have a better version of Fallout 3 than the PS3 does and it has exclusive content for games that I like like GTA IV.

The problem with PS3 is their Western games aren't supposed to be as good as the 360 versions.  And a lot of exclusive content goes to the 360 games as well.

The multiplat games differences are getting smaller and smaller... in fact, you could almost call that a problem of the past. As for DLC, you have a point - the question is just: a) how important is DLC to you, and b) how much patience have you got? (since much of the DLC is just timed exclusive)

Other than that, it's really just up to taste... both systems have great exclusives, I'd just pick the one whose present and upcoming library appeals more to you (due to whatever reasons). Other advantages: the PS3 has actually a kinda great value now with the cheaper price (Blu-ray, games, ...), Xbox 360 still is the #1 choice for online gaming though. You have to know yourself what's more important to you.

Get a PS3 and a PSP GO.

Do blu-ray movies look that much better than regular dvds?  I've never watched a blu-ray movie.

Your not trolling it now. But just about every other post that I have seen from you has been negative against the 360. Infact I remember that most people didn't even believe that you owned one

Edit: and you made it quite clear how you feel about the 360 here

PS3 has Uncharted 2, and MGS4... And Final Fantasy, although no longer exclusive. You've got 360 games, trade them in. The PS3's failure rate is much lower than 360, and, you're not interested in the 360 exclusives, but, are in the PS3 exclusives.

You've got Wifi, and free online, and don't forget about multi-cross-game-chat-thingy coming with the next update. Blue tooth, and bluray are a plus too. Wait for the 250 GB if it's not already out. Then get Uncharted and MGS4.
