That's what I have been thinking over and over again. Zelda Wii is supposed to arrive at the end of 2010, but we all know the early state of development in which the game is, so the normal would be to think that it will be pushed back to 2011, given the fact that we have seen nothing from the game, no images, video or initial trailer.
Rumours about the next Wii are starting to appear on the net and they say that the next Nintendo console may arrive in 2011, so the same year than Zelda Wii. Will they use the game as a bridge title (the same than Twilight Princess), will move the game from Wii to Wii 2 or next Zelda will just stay on Wii, as it is supposed?
Of course, I know that in terms of graphics, GameCube and Wii are not so different, and launching Zelda on both systems was a razonable idea. But, considering Wii 2 to be on HD, it would be difficult to see a Zelda with Wii graphics on an HD system. We do not know yet the look of the Zelda title in development, but I remember Miyamoto saying at E3 2009 that they had been working mainly in controls, the graphical appearance was still in the air. Can you imagine that in E3 2010 they show a Zelda trailer with graphics in HD? Would you be shocked?
