lol so the Modern Warfare bundle is going to Sell A few hundred thousand 360's? ? i wonder how many they are going to stock, and im sure the game its self wont be a huge system seller, but if it is it will Sell the PS3 As Well, I bet the FF bundle in japan sells more then Mw2 bundle , call me crazy but ya

I don't see how this can happen because:

1.) Wii is a beast.

2.) Forza is releasing in late October, so whatever impact it has by the holidays will be very minimal.

3.) Modern Warfare has already been on consoles. Its like Halo 3 ODST. It'll sell boatloads of software, but very little hardware.

4.) FF XIII is projected to sell 500k extra PS3s in Japan this holiday.

5.) PS3 has Others and Japan in the bag, and will probably equal or be slightly outsold by the 360 in Americas, meaning PS3 > 360.

360 may beat the PS3 this holiday again, but it isnt because of MW2. If it does it will be because of the Arcade. As a gift a $199.99 Arcade has mass market appeal. Especially if MS creates any bundles with the Arcade. Although it will be tighter this year.

Instead of their reasons being solidified by empirical data and reasonable argumentation, it is supported by biased commentary and old-age stereotypes. Very poorly written analysis.

I think on a US level comparison, 360 has a strong chance of beating the PS3 out... although it won't be by the margin it was last year. And of course Wii will rank on top. However, on a world level, it's doubtful that 360 can stay close enough to PS3 in Europe and Japan to really keep that American lead over it. More than likely Wii, followed by PS3, followed by 360 with the bottom 2 still being relatively close but not a virtual tie by any standards.

I wouldn't be surprised in the US, but in Europe I would.

360 will be outsold in Europe and Japan definitely and by a lot to the PS3.

As for the US, it'll probably be outsold too, although if it wasn't I wouldn't be too shocked. Sony will make a good splash this Christmas, and rightfully so, giving the games and price point people wanted all along.
