With 2009 soon to be coming to a close, in 2009 the ps3 sure left the competition in it's wake when it comes to exclusive games, releasing more AAA exclusives than the Wii and 360. 2009 has seen the arrival of the critically acclaimed JRPG Demon's Souls, 2009 also saw the arrival of the highest rated HD exclusive Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 currently is the 5th highest rated game of all time quite an achievement indeed. In 2009 the ps3 released more 80+ games than any other console including 4 games averaging 89+. The ps3 owners in 2009 have been spoilt beyond belief, let's recap the blockbuster 2009 has been:

Killzone 2
MLB 09
Infamous
Ratchet and clank - A crack in time
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Demon's Souls
Yakuza 3
Uncharted 2
God of war collection

Psn Games:

Wipeout Fury
Flower
Critter Crunch
Shatter
Comet crash

God of War collection expected to rate 90 or higher:

At this moment in time the ps3 is home to two of the highest rated HD exclusive games of all time, by March 2010 that number is sure to extend to three. Ps3 owners have been overwhelmed with sheer content released that many won't be able to purchase Modern warfare 2 til next year. 2009 for me personally has been special with the multiplatform and exclusive games released and still to be released it's been a great year of gaming and if you're a ps3 its been a fucking outstanding year of gaming.

is optimism eatable?

imo is 09 a great year in PS3 Games, but MS and Ninty arent that dead, dude.
