Its because you hate fun. The realism actually made me question the game like I would a movie if I lose suspension of disbelief.

Oh right, I tend to forget that I am "special".

...

In all honesty, Uncharted 2 felt really right, in terms of realism for me. I just popped in Uncharted: DF yesterday to help my mom get started on the game. Now that's something that takes you out of the game! Holy crap! Honestly, this is something people should try, just to see how much better the characters are in U2. That's where the power of a HD console shines.

Maybe we should just agree to disagree?

But we'd have to agree first.

Tease.

I agree with that statement.

Good enough?

Nope!

The game isn't suppose to look that realistic anywy guys so it's a pointless exercise on that argument. Through to chapter 22 now and the improvement is similar to the jump from Gears 1 to 2 for me. They've really tuned the fine details to the max, increased frame rate stability, got rid of scren tear, improved charcter models and improved the variety in the scenery. Side by side the gap doesn't look that huge but when you've played though both games you can tell the difference is a big step, especially the physics improvement moving over to Havoc.

Its funny I was just playing the game, I recently realised that I didn't give a damn about the differences between HD generation console graphics. I switch between a 29" LCD and a 53" Sony Bravia and it makes no difference to the enjoyment of the games. I like graphics because of the technology and not for the effect the graphics have.

To me Uncharted 2 is just like any other game, the visual look essentially doesn't give it any bonus points
and personally I skip the cutscenes as they are visually so different from the gameplay it ruins the experience.

Can u elaborate on this?

I cant decipher what you mean. It sounds like you dont care about grafix all of a sudden?

Judging from pictures alone, Uncharted 2 doesn't improve upon much... o_0

I suppose it looks better in motion though, right? =]

The BuShA owns all!

Yup. Honestly, the best way to compare it is to have a PS3, play some Uncharted 2 and then play some Uncharted 1. It does feel like quite a jump.

I kind of agree.  The fact that Uncharted 2 is graphically superior to any other console game I've ever played, really had no positive/negative effect on my views of the game.  People tend to focus on the graphics, because the advances or so obvious, it is indisputable.  For me, Uncharted 2 excels by incorporating gameplay elements from different genres so seemlessly(stealth, platforming, puzzles, and tps gunplay).  When I began playing Uncharted 2, my first thought was this is what a PS4 or Xbox 720 game will strive to look like.  To focus on the graphics and not on the character development, story telling, and acting is a mistake.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

They al look good... but u2 takes the crown
