to me killzone 2 eats resitance 1 and 2 alive.resistance was too unpolished for my liking.

It's not a bad game, it's just an average game in an overcrowded genre.

R2 eats KZ2 imo, KZ2 is just trying to be CoD, R2 may be generic but when is generic bad? CoD 4 was generic as hell and it got good scores.

Resistance 2 was a huge failure.It would have been 50/100 game without great multiplayer.
I was really dissapointed on game..Tho it has its moments.

KZ2 was nothing like CoD, and that's why most people prefer it to R2. R2 was a Halo/CoD4 clone, pure and simple. Killzone 2 had more emphasis on cover, and slow movement, not running and gunning.

And CoD4 was far from generic.

only things i didnt really like about resistance 2 were

1. they took away the weapon wheel that allowed you to carry all weapons making Resistance 2 seem very scripted. Oh look a laark, i guess a boss/titan is up ahead, is that a sniper rifle, guess i have to snipe ahead....

2. I HATE how on multiplater you can look across the map and see where every single enemy is by a giant red triangle on your head. its 60 person multiplayer, the players shouldnt need a red triange to see an enemy.

3. lack of local co-op. i liked the fact that they had online co-op (which was great) but i would have loved to see a local co-op to play when friends are over

Resistance 1 had a better single player game than Resistance 2 for definite. I liked the first one better.

I preferred Resistance 1 by far. The single player was leagues better and it had legitimate difficulty. Resistance 2's single player was complete mess, the story blew, and the AI was broken.
