Some people still seem to believe Uematsu does the music for the main title FFs. (O_o;)


Final Fantasy X was mostly done by Nobuo Uematsu (IMO, the best songs there were done by Nobuo). I liked a lot of Hamauzu tracks on there, though ("Besaid" song was fantastic).

We'll wait and see how good this soundtrack turns out to be. Final Fantasy XII was a disappointment.

the guyw ho made FF12's soundtrack usually makes very very good soundtracks!

He did most of 1-9, 11, and he's doing all of 14.

I know about I-IX (who doesn't?). I also know how much of the X soundtrack is contributed to him I although one has to consider some of the tracks were a joint effort of the three X composers.

He did a few songs for XI as well.

 

I heard about him doing XIV but forgot about it again.

 

Just a funny note. I saw Uematsu in person last month (Symphonic Fantasies in Cologne). He, Mitsuda, Kickuchi and Shimomura were all present for the concert. The Chrono Trigger / Chrono Cross part was better than the FF part, though.

That's why I'm disappointed. Fanal Fantasy Tactics OST is a masterpiece!

^True, but I also enjoyed some of FFXII's OST, especially the field music.

i wont buy this soundtrack unless i play the game and it will be in the past..
otherwise i wont "Feel" it ?... i don't know how to say it.
