Space stopped being issue when they crammed a 2-Disc Playstation game onto a 64mb N64 cartridge (Resident Evil 2).

Hey, it's not me, it's Infinity Ward who's complaining about space, i'm just answering the question XD
What Angel Studios did was really amazing, changing res on the fly, new stuff, surround sound, high compression, of course they had to sacrifice Extreme Battle mode, but impressive nonetheless... I think that's why Take-Two bought them...
The thing is, Angel Studios ported from Capcom Studio 4 (who did the game for PS1), i think Infinity Ward uses the 360 and then ports to PS3...
Aside from my desire for better anti-aliasing, true 6fps games and everything releasing in atleast true 720p I agree.

Touche!
I actually think its possible that ram is the issue here not disc space. MW2=/=MGS4, WTH is on the disc to require such disc space? It would be better if the interviewer had asked for clarification when he had the chance instead of writing an ambiguous article.

Lolz, we're pretty cool cats :)
Really, though, it's probably a bit of both. PC version of CoD4 was 9GB including all map packs and patches. 360 DVD size limit is 6.8gb, but map packs and patches are separate... So I would assume that the PC version is their most superior one and if it fits into 9GB, they can probably get their normal game without patches and map DLC onto the 360 DVD-9 with just a little bit of work.
