Played the demo.

Thoughts:

-Amazing graphics
-Gameplay feels more fluid than before
-It is just amazing.
-I love the new segments: harpies, cyclopes, etc.

-Icarus Ascent is hard. But I'm sure it's good when you get used to it.

One main complaint:

-The camera angles. This isn't Uncharted 2. Keep the camera the same, you don't have to zoom in on the back of Kratos' head while he is walking.

I fear they might be making it a tad too cinematic, but it's still awesome.

Try changing the flight controls from "inverted" to"normal" that made it easier for me.

I was fine with zooming in on the back. It made you notice the details in the graphics.

I have one question though, is it mandatory that you ride the cyclops before killing it, cuz that would suck. A few hits and the circle pops up. Makes it too easy.
I hope the times you get to ride the cyclops isn't scripted.

By the way my favourite combo sequence in the DEMO was,

Hold triangle to launch goons and yourself to air
While in air L1+Square, L1+O, L1+Triangle one after the other.

Pure ownage. everybody try that. Feels even better with the cestus.

Is it wrong to think that the cestus is more badass than the blades ? If it weren't slow it would be better than the blades, right now its a tie for me.

Fire bow is NICE.

I loved the battering ram move too.

I'm guessing (hoping) that was Mortal difficulty. They should have allowed you to play on Normal as well. Where you can't take 1000 hits before dying, and perhaps QTEs (particularly button mashers) are a lot harder.

What about the cyclops thing though ?

I'm pretty sure its one of the easier difficulties, since its about 3 hrs into the game it seems. If they had it at one of the harder difficulties, gamers would get pwned.

Yeah, the Cyclops was weak.

I was worried that that might be the start of the game. It would be the crappiest start to a GoW ever. No cutscene or anything.

Moving on, Kratos attacking the Titan: what was that about? My theory is that he wasn't attacking him, just using him to swing somewhere or something. Unless Kratos turns on the Titans within the first three hours...
