No chance. Less than 1.5m. My point is the Wii has peaked.

I almost agree, it had a price cut, but it still cant sell as much as it did in the same period last year?

Well, it's selling better each week so far, I expect record numbers again this holiday.

I'm tempted to agree as well, but Wii Sports Resort and NSMB Wii will drive Wii sales well into 2010, and the Wii's 2010 lineup looks freakin' insane to me.

I'd give 50/50 odds of 2010 being the Wii's best year.

I almost agree, LOL it seems to me there are too many factors there to just say something is set.

My brain can see Wii sales being DOWN YOY this holiday

Well, the Wii's holidays this year (in Japan) is going to be ridiculously......solid.

I cannot forecast the impact New Super Mario Bros. Wii will have everywhere else, but it has an almost guaranteed 750k first week in Americas at least and most likely 1.1m worldwide.

2010? The Software we have seen will be nuts. And there are probably 3 Wii games Nintendo will release during the next year and holidays that we don't even know of yet, in addition to Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M. Having a Zelda 2010 would be a photo finish, but something else is surely in the works to drive hardware sales. What happened with Wii Music/Animal Crossing has an extremely slim possibility of ever happening again.

And do not forget the 3rd parties. Big guns will be blazing next year- in both quality and sales.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
