wii: The anti-wii mob may go on about Yoy drops but the fact remains that regardless it is beating the competition.

If it falls YoY for the rest of it's life and still outsell the other consoles 50 out of 52 weeks Nintendo is smiling, missed forecast or not.

PS3: the U2 sales boost is only NA.

Uncharted2 was released the week after the 17th in EU so I am guessing that if it cleared 120,000+ the week before U2 that figure should go up next weeks charts.

Truly awesome EU figures for Sony. Well over double the x360.

x360: The price cut - as someone mentioned - may have help stabalised x360 but only NA showing serious love at the moment relative to wii and PS3.

Still OK for x360.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Anyway, great sales for U2 and very nice boost to boot. (PS3 is really strong in EU). Wii back to selling great for no "apparent" reason (by that I mean no new SW out). 360 a little weak I would say but Forza will help.

It's either that or the 20% increase is delayed by one week for no reason.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Tekken don't weld the power it held anymore.

Kung Fu beat 'em ups in general don't seem to count for much this gen.

I can of cousre be proven wrong but we shall see.

Why, so they can gain marketshare on DS? Not possible.

At this point, I think they just want to make some money and make up for the PS3 losses.

thats actually still reasonable.

Wii is barely down yoy, and last holiday had supply constraints in December. Even being 10% down yoy, December will be much, much bigger.

Also, a lot of people are betting on New Super Mario Bros Wii to be a huge hardware mover. We won't see its effects until mid November.
