^It's cool. Thought I was going crazy for a minute!
still loading pretty graphics and loading multiple ai's are two completely different things, from the hd it reads faster also can load from two places simultaneously, so instead of rendering the enemy the oving the laser then rading the ai and applying it, it can do both render with the data from disc while loading the ai etc from hdd

I know the day is only just beginning but I'm pretty sure this is going to be by far the funniest thing I'm going to read today. I love it when people pretend to know what they're talking about when they have *absolutely* no clue what's going on. The icing on the cake? You call everyone else ignorant! XD -edit- Slightly on topic, but I'm about 70% sure I'll be installing it anyways if I do get it. |
Twesterm buying a multiplat on PS3?

That was assuming I'd buy it on the 360. I'm assuming both versions are going to be equal so in that case achievements and the fact my PS3 sounds like a vacuum cleaner makes me get it for the 360 which means I install it.
Now if the PS3 version is noticeably better, I'll get that one and install it if I have the option.

It looks like both versions will have an optional install: the article doesn't say "no install", it says "no mandatory install".
And of course, achievements are the same thing as trophies, and... did you just say your PS3 is louder than your 360?
Not that I'm calling them out or anything but doesn't the fact that the game has trophies require some form of install, albeit a tiny one?
Neither one of my consoles are loud, lol. But, I am getting this game on PS3 since the game was originally meant as a PS3 exclusive, and no disc swapping is required.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Yeah, but I also think my PS3 is on its last legs. I got a new 360 earlier this year and it's as quiet as a mouse (though the only time I use the disc drive is when I'm installing a game) but my PS3 is pretty crazy loud no matter what I do.
It's sad because 1) I still need to play more Demon's Soul after I finish Uncharted and 2) while I can dig out a DVD player to watch DVD's, I can't do that for Blu-Ray's. ;_;
And to me, trophies and achievements are not the same thing. Or they are, but I like one better than the other.

If you look at it that way, every game needs an install. CoD4's "install" was 12MB.
