While I'm really happy that VGChartz has become a much more popular site since its inception, I was curious as to just how much. Simply by typing in "video game sales", this site is the very first site that comes up (followed by Wikipedia). This comes as no surprise seeing as sites as big as IGN and Kotaku quote this sites numbers on a regular basis at this point. But, upon generalizing my search to simply "video games", this site is very first........on the twelfth page. This is not cool, we have to rise above these random little sites and get up to the first few pages with the likes of IGN, G4TV and the first and third party sites. Obviously not as many people care about sales as the games themselves, so this may be unlikely if not impossible. However, there really should be enough fanboys alone who want to argue over numbers to propel us to page 4 or 5 easily! (lol j/k)
So basically, I was just wondering if the site runners have any new plans for the site, aside from the weekly articles and lists and such (also the console symbols were a nice add!).
It would be cool if we could put advertisements on sites like IGN for VGChartz. Ovbiously expensive but that would really make the hits surge.
