Forums - Sony - Uncharted 2 DLC - What do you want?

If you have any ideas for what you want to see as Uncharted 2 DLC, let's talk about them here. ND has already revealed that DLC would be primarily for competetive multiplayer, for those who didn't know

Anyway, I'll start with some suggestion for the competetive MP:

Maps:

Bring some locations from the first game.

Like having a map based on the german submarine base. If they could be a map with both those tight corridors underground as well as more open space above where the submarines were, I think that would be pretty awesome.

Or a map from Shambala, that would be pretty cool, with all the ruins.

Modes:

I do wish ND had really made an original mode. All the modes are great, but they are tried and tested, so something new would be appreciated. Or maybe just the option of customizing games more (like removing the Hammer and RPG, I hate people who spam with those!)

Bring up some good suggestions people!

Something like UT3's "betrayal" (is that what it's called?) would be nice.

More co-op maps. Even though I havent played it I imagine there arent enough

@ ultima

Uh, that would be a good one I think actually! I haven't played it myself, but it sounds like fun.

There's already a map from Shambhala (you don't need to spoiler tag it, he mentions it in the first level!): The Lost City. Not a bad level. I would personally like:

-A co-op mission on the train. Though ND said they want to focus on competitive for the DLC.
-A Borneo map.
-A map from the hotel Nate was staying at at the beginning of the game (lol)
-A proper Nepal map. Not like the Plaza.

Also, some things that need patching:

-Fair matchmaking. Don't give one team level 5-15s and the other team level 30-40s. It's not fun, really.
-Dedicated option for territories, not part of Objective.
-Standard Deathmatch and Special Deathmatch options. Special would be stuff like Sniper + Pistole, RPG, etc.
-Allow people to join games that are in progress. 5 vs. 2 (I've been in one) is also not fun.

Should we post this thread on a PS Blog article when we're done, or something?

I want more co-op missions, as well as new character skins! New weapons would also be awesome or an addition to the single player campaign.

more co-op missions and new weapons...and for free)) but...5$ is a good deal for that stuff)

Crap, how could I possibly forget about that?!

A coop train level could be really cool actually (though I still need to get into the coop, I haven't really played it... I need more people on my friends list who own U2 >_>)

I imagine a Borneo map might be hard to do though, with the verticallity and all.

And I see room for another Nepal map (though I like the Plaza anyway )

Agreed, the matchmaking needs some massaging. And dedicated options for more of the modes in general!

I had thought of it, but I think the thread needs to grow a bit more. Hopefully it will be a worthwhile submission if we ever get that far

Maps. Lots and lots of maps.

Definitely more co-op missions... no matter what ND said ;)
