this whole argument seems to stem from no star fox or f zero. the fact that wii has a punchout and 2 excite games whilst gamecune did not seems to be ignored. what i want to know is who do they expect star fox and f zero to be made by? theres is no team for either franchise unlike zelda, mario, fire emblem, batallion wars, pikmin ect

It may look like this because IMO 2009 was perhaps the worst year ever from Nintendo supporting their own console. Add to that the fact that 2008 was really poor too and then you get this kinds of reactions.
Probably by 2010 everything will be OK, but what the OP said is not totally terrible, since the past 2 years have been abominably poor. And a lot of the games never made it to the USA on top of that.

Why did you bought a Wii then? if you really want core games and console FPS with pointer controls which isnt a port then wait MOAR. it will never happen. Buy a HD console instead if you want core games. And yeah, your predictions are too obvious look at my sig for predictions

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

2008 was pretty great for europeans. we got fire emblem battalion wars 2 mario kart SSBB wario land shake it and disaster day of crisis. if you live in europe i dont see how you can complain about 2008

@yushire: Your predictions are stupid. Wii is not the only option as many developers have proven already. NA and Europe are doing alright without supporting the Wii, Wii is the one seeing a decline, not the other way around.
Besides I bought a Wii because I like Nintendo games, not FPS, and I bought it back in 2007, when we were seeing a constant flow of good Nintendo games.
