Heres what im thinking...
GTA 1 - GTA London was PC games that did okay in popularity, but as GTA3 launched the GTA franchise really blew up the gaming industry with its in your face attitude where you killed cops and had sex with prostitutes. The game was on everyones lips and it helped define the PS2. SONY later on released the license of exclusivity and said that they felt the Playstation brand, as well as GTA and Rockstar, had enjoyed the cooperation but that it was time for some other franchise to help define the console.
Along comes Uncharted 1, gets good numbers and creates some buzz with its cinematic touch. It gets a solid fanbase and ND/SONY decides to do Uncharted 2. A game that has cause a hugh buzz around the gaming industry, and graphics wise aswell as storytelling, really hits mainstream and people all over wants to get their hands on it. Much like GTA3.
Could Uncharted be the new GTA in terms of really help define the PS3 and the Playstation brand? Aswell as help sell hardware and become a solid big seller? What do you think?

Or... maybe even a new MGS. The same love for the main character is present in both Uncharted and MGS. Both have great storytelling and stealth/action that really works. DISCUSS!
