What is the most funny part is the number of threads about how good will be GT5 sales while NSMB Wii will probably sell like 4 times more than GT5 LTD numbers when all is set and done.

I think 10million is a low end guess for lifetime sales. I see it surpassing 5 million by Christmas, and approaching 20 million lifetime.

while i do think that initially MW2 will beat it in sales, it will beat it in life time sales. also i don't think MW2 will be the game that sales the most for this year, i think WSR will do that considering it already has a 5 million headstart and hasn't even seen a holiday yet

Remember NSMB.wii is gonna appeal to both male and female genders equally -so you have this huge demographic MW2's gonna miss out on.

Again, we still don't know if the City Folk effect will eat into this or not, though that eventuality seems increasingly less likely as the overall hype meter just keeps running up.
