It has potential, but i'm curious to see how they execute it so it's not lame finishing with bowser jr.

I've no emotional investment in this sort of thing. As long as it's an epic fight, i don't care who it's against. They could bring back Wart or Tatanga, so long as it was a fun fight.

 

Actually, that would be pretty epic in itself.

Actually, that would be pretty epic in itself.


It would be awesome if the Koopa Kids were the half-way boss of each world, and then the world bosses were other classic bosses. Wart, Tatanga, Donkey Kong, Wario, Kamek, Big Bob-omb, etc.

Aye. Even though I looooooooooooooooooove his outfit.

I'm sure it will be Koopa Kids, Bowser Jr., then Bowser, but I'm not sure what the parody will be. Maybe they'll spoof the original SMB1 and put him on a bridge over some lava, with a switch to dump him in? That's my prediction. But it'll be a hard epic battle to get to the switch, so the battle will be a mix of the old and new boss battle styles.

I'm not sure that would be "fresh", as NSMB already did that :P

Since Mario 64 style boss battle wouldn'r make much sense, I think Super Mario World or SMB3 battles would be the candidates, and we've seen Bowser Junior on Super Mario World's bowser "flying thing" (does that have a name?). Maybe we'll have that and a SMB3 style Bowser?
