Forums - Gaming - How many times have you beat your most replayed game?

I beat Everquest once when I quit years ago. That being said, I think the game I've beat the most would have to be all of the civilization games or Heroes of Might and Magic 1-5.

PS can't wait for civ revolutions!

The Diablo series is more addictive than WoW imo, and when me and my friends started playing them, we simply could not stop!! The hunt for better equipment and more experience was constant and relentless, and we loved it!
I must add that I've always been a huge RPG fan, pen & paper style.
I remember the last time I played Hellfire a few years back, I fell out of the game right after having been killed by some of the worst and most annoying enemies in the game (the acid spitting pit hounds...!). We were using IPX cables, which are......severly unstable at best. I got a synch error and was trying to rejoin to reclaim my gear from my body, simultaneously, one of my other friends tried to join. I yelled no to him, but it was too late... The entire server crashed, and my gear was lost after 70-80 hours searching for it... That was the last time I played Hellfire...
As for Diablo 2; it has to be the game I've played the most in my entire life, and the replay value is such that it never really dies for me. I want to play it again!!
It's always fun, even at high levels when other games get less challenging or plain boring.
I had a Paladin with the sickest gear; level 87, 9500-13500 damage and over 70% life steal with each hit... now that's too much spare time for you...

raptor: call of the shadows about 10-15 times

Zelda OoT 11

You people play a lot of games!

For me:

Dynasty Warrios 2 10x+
Dynasty Warriors 3 20x+
Way of the Samurai 6-8x (it has multiple endings)
SM64 3x
LoZ: OoT 3x

Everything else I've only beaten once. :(

hmmm... metal slug 2 I have beaten around 30 times... but that's like 20 minutes each, tops.

Half-Life I've finished aout 6 times.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

Street Fighter 2 & SF2 Turbo on the SNES...Between them since 1992 I must have completed them easily 500+ times. Probably 400+ times on level 7 with no continues.

I think you people are over-estimating how many times you beat the one game,
ToS 18 times, RE4 25-40 times, I'll never believe that, ever, explain how you have come about to do this and why?

*Realisticly* me:

Terranigma: about 3 times

Final Fantasy IX: 5 times

Donkey Kong Country 2: 5 times

Tetris - gameboy edition on the hardest level 200+ times

Other than that, Super Mario Bros, TMNT Tournament Fighters, and Civilization 2 between 10 and 50 times.

currently playing: Desktop Tower Defense (PC), Puzzle Quest (DS), Trauma Center New Blood (Wii), Guitar Hero III (Wii), Ghost Squad (Wii), Actraiser (SNES), Donkey Kong County (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Kirby's Adventure (NES)

will play next: Paper Mario (N64), Golden Axe II (Sega), NiGHTS (Wii)

Nah, Diablo 1 and 2 don't take too long to play through if you're experienced, and you play it over and over and over and over... and there's three difficulties as well. Getting your character to a decent level requires at least 10 playtroughs on Diablo 2, so it's not as incredible as it may sound.  My girlfriend, on the other hand, likes to play FF games over and over and over and over... Now that's time consuming, why do you guys think I'm on the PC all the time?!

RE 4--beaten about 6-7 times--best time was 3 hrs 40 mins--but i had the tyewriter to do it
