battle system looks like linear run and gun style as you pass enemies using up action points, so basically a mix of srpg and traditional with real time attack controls. I'm usually more interested in the story side of things when it comes to JRPGs though since the only thing that keeps me awake with combat is tales games.

In that third video that first fight was really cheesy. Why does he jump around for no reason... although the same animation looks epic against giant robots... it doesn't look right in other situations.
