Yeah the timing of this list and Demon's Souls release are miraculously close to eachother. Gotta love making a list just to plug your agenda.

The site is 39 days old. So I'm going to say not likely. This entire list doesn't seem to have much of any thought put into it, and it's plainly obvious there are extreme biases in what got picked and didn't. You want to know how many of the five exclusive RPGs on the PS3 made the list? Four of them. You want to know how many of the bazillion RPGs on the DS made the list? None of them. Let's just put this into perspective. Quite a few RPGs that are not generally well received by both critics and gamers alike made this list, and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl isn't on here. The single most beloved RPG of this generation is not anywhere on the list.

If that's not enough though to convince you that Demons Souls NA/EU arrival didn't prompt this list, note that their last article "The Top 7 Best Artistic Games of this Generation" has Uncharted 2 sitting pretty at #1 and that just got released too. There's three PS3 exclusives on that list also...out of seven.

Or just go to their Editorials section and scroll down page by page. The majority of the editorials are about the PS3 and a ton of it's exclusives, including a crapload of editorials on Uncharted 2. Most of their Microsoft editorials have to do with it's place against the PS3. These are the titles of the last 20 editorials. Red are Sony, Green are Microsoft, Orange are Sony/Microsoft and Blue are Nintendo, anything generally about any and all platforms is just bolded.

I have no qualms over Demons Souls. I'm calling it like it is. Demon's Souls prompted the list to be made. I don't generally approve of any list that revolves around a recently released game because I think every game needs to settle in for a while to judge it's longevity.
