Do you think Halo ODST will sell 5 million copies by 12-25-09?

If not, do you think the Halo franchise no longer has the ability to sell Xbox 360's to new consumers that it once did?

I don't think so. It's a sales monster but it's no Halo 3- week 3: it's under 3 million where Halo 3 had almost 5 million at that point after release. Depends on bundles.

And Halo is still a system selling franchise. ODST didn't provide anything substantial because it's the 3rd Halo game released on the console.

The first Halo on the next Xbox will move consoles, lots of them.

Pretty much what others have said, Halo 3 just about managed to shift 2 million copies from October - December, so ODST sure as hell won't. Did you actually look at the numbers before posting?

I think no but legs should be good as it will be good for people looking for Halo 3 multiplayer on the cheap with all DLC when it drops price.

I don't think it'll sell that much, but i think it has to potential to over the course of next year.
