Hey, maybe it's a French plot! In some time, someone else or Miyamoto himself will release a blue-spined game and collectors will end up with a French flag in their collections!

Red is sexy. I want more red. And what's the fun with everything being identical...The cool ones stand out from the crowd.
The text for NSMBWii is all white... the same color as a normal Wii case... therefore, the red spine is for the title of the game to stand out more, that's all.
