That's exactly my point. I gave GTA4 a 7, because, taking out personal preferences, the game felt a like a solid achievement and still symbolizes the spirit of a GTA game, even though it was a downgrade on the evolution of the series and had some technical issues.
I found it extremely boring and non-sensical at most times, but just because of that I won't be giving it any less than 7, it wouldn't be right for me to do so.
I believe that's the problem with the majority of gamers nowadays, they don't rate what they are given based on what the actual game really represents, instead they just give their own personal opinions like it's solid, unarguable facts.

What sort of facts can there possibly exist for LBP getting a 3 and Dead Space getting a 5? You know that for a game to have such faults to be actually ranked so low, the game has to be in the Big Rigs kind of quality in reality? I know that in your personal opinion the game must be like that, but if you objectively do a qualitative analysis, would you find those kind of issues with both LBP and Dead Space?
