On Topic: I am actually liking that now most of the games on the X360 are staying exclusives. It makes it feel more of a value over the original Xbox

I don't miss them because they still exist... The problem is that 3rd party has now a lot of multis, i want more exclusives from 3rd party developers taking advantage of a console's capabilities... And that goes for Wii, PS3 and 360...

I know

I got a PS2 in 2006 & enjoyed gaming heaven for 1 year, then got the PS3

& played the remaining Ps2 games I missed on it....(60GB BC ps3 FTW)

But yeah last gen was dull, boring & horrible for me, I blame the gamecube

The gamecube & PSP to date remain the only gaming systems that made me feel I wasted money on them :(

I certainly do. The HD consoles don't have much of an identity with so many 3rd party games going multiplat. But I guess with the hefty development costs, one can't blame them. I blame Sony for this 80% since they messed up badly this generation. The remaining 20% of the blame goes to Microsoft for not setting up robust first-party studios, and relying too much on money-hatting every publisher. Some games are really being held back because of them being multi-platform. I'm pretty happy Ubisoft and KojiPro remained/are remaining exclusive with SC:C and MGS4 to get the most out of their intended platform.

 

However, I'm glad Sony are putting their first party studios to good use.

Nope. He's just the common PS3 fanboy/troll.  All PS3 fanboy/trolls have great gaming PC's duh!  Even though they still won't be able to get Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Fable 2/3, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, etc. etc.
