Thanks for the update, it's an interesting comparison. X360 is really starting to fall behind even compared to PS3 last year, maybe MW2 will give it a slight boost but i don't think it will be enough. X360 is becoming more and more dependent on the American market.

X360 is a 4 year old system heading into its 5th year its sales are not expected to increase in annual sales. The recent price cuts of the Wii and the PS3 are eating into the 360 sales.

The 2009 Xmas sales period for 360 should be well down on last year's Xmas sales. The gap between 360 and PS3 will close to around 5 million by the end of the year.

PS3 hardware number from last week(24 oct) was adjusted up to 249,194, thought you might wanted to correct that.

I see alot of the hardware numbers have been adjusted up. At this rate 360-ps3 gap will already be close to the maximum 5.5 million even before the holidays really kick in.

Yeah, PS3 is doing much better, than many expected.
PS3 sales have stabilized at 250k+ and that is really impressive after the long time, when PS3 wasn`t performing, as people expected from PS2 successor.
299$ price is really helping a lot now.

x360 behind last year's PS3 sales: -48,948

Thanks for the update. This shows that the guys at Sony can´t be wrong all the time and this time, when they hold their numbers(13mln for FY 2009) they meant business.
