Btw, Snake was close to win, since in match with Freeman they had votes at 50,01% VS 49,99%

Seriously, half of you probably think Fox McCloud's character is less developed then Mario. |
lol, COMEON bro. No, Mario isn't a "well developed character" either, but this isn't a character development contest of neither of them would have won. It's a popularity contest. One that was promoted by Valve.
Anyway, Gordon is popular because his games are great, and the characters around him are cool. He has no real personality that isn't just implied, just a backstory, a wanted poster, and a cover-art.
The games are great. Gordon is a nameless, and a game pretty much faceless avatar meant to represent nerdy leetism. They mythos and writings behind the series are not games and should not, imo, be used to base character greatness on.
Mario is the same thing, except he actually visually appears in his games, has a voice, and yes, the overall mario library of games is better than the HL series imo. It's also more popular, I'd wager. However, the story is worse.
Without the Gman, or the ad campaign, Gordon wouldn't have won this.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

He also has a PhD in Physics and his last scientific post was at the Black Mesa facility... was I the only one that read the letter before I played Half-Life?
