Forums - Gaming - Demon Souls on the 360?

Development was actually paid for by Sony. They own the IP. It's a second party title, much like Ratchet & Clank or LittleBigPlanet.

The only reason Atlus published it in NA is because SCEA lacked the balls to do so.

I was about to write "never say never" till you wrote this. I guees Demon's souls will come to 360 when Infinite Undiscovey comes to ps3 not like I care nowadays since my brother just got a 360.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Your going to edit another wiki to prove your point? ~_n

I included various sources in that article that could not be refuted, so I fail to see the relevnce.  :P

As for the topic of Demon's Souls, there's a reason even the North American version that was not published by Sony still references "Sony Japan Studio" at the start of the game.  It was a joint effort between Sony Japan and From Software.

that's so not true....

SCEA doesn't have enough resource to market this game, also Sony wants to maintain a good relationship with Atlus (I smell Persona 5 exclusive for PS3).

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

I don't think it's impossible, just very unlikely.

I wouldn't mind if it got ported, but I'd rather the dev time be spent doing Demon's Souls 2 or DLC for the Land of the Giants.

Sony does not own King's Field.  That's all From Software.

As far as I know, Demon's Souls is the first time the two companies have worked together.

It would be great if it happens. From Software needs more love.

I'm actually surprised M$ didn't buy this one up. Going by their track record, they have bought up quit a few From Software games for exclusives.

But they have enough to keep the mediocre White Knight on their upcoming release list?  lol

The game was developed by From Software and JAPANStudio as far as I know.

Like makingmusic said..Sony owns the IP, so it´s not going to the 360.

But john, since you´re getting a PS3 sooner or later, you´ll get to play it either way :)
