I have a feeling it is because it streams it right from the disc with no install.

what type of PS3 system is this happening with? the oler 80GB? Slim? etc. curious to know if it's affecting one type of system over another.
Well from what I have heard this is very common. I am going to call Sony's customer service at some point and see what they have to say if it continues to happen.
