seriously if the wii had line up like ps3 have now i would say it probably can make it.

but nsmb wii doens't look like it.

  We could see unprecedented levels, Nintendo has ample Wii stocks, plenty of bundles, a 2D mario (possibly a bundle as well), so its possible

x360 is doing worse, than PS3 last year.
PS3 is doing better, than x360 last year.

Next week PS3 sales will go UP with Uncharted 2 release.
I wonder, at what number will stabilize Wii sales, PS3 so far is 200k+.

Even then sales are DOWN by so much, the REBOUND would have to be awfully large

Very few games have any impact on sales. So Xoj you're completly wrong.

Yes by around 13K

Not that much....but it still shows the effects of say a future $199 PS3 price cut will be even greater

It also to some extent shows us which console was more "desired"

I have to laugh when some people claim that freakin Uncharted 2 is going to boost PS3 sales but that the successor to quite possibily the most popular gaming franchise OF ALL TIME coming out 15 years after its predesecor, is not going to move a significant amount of Wiis.

I'll tell you one thing right now, if NSMB Wii doesn't move a lot of Wiis, Nintendo might as well call it quits now and end the system's life early, because if a new 2-D Mario can't do it, NOTHING will.

Looking good, the one factor 360 has going for it is, after it's price drop last year (excluding Japan) the PS3 didn't come close to U.S or Others sales for 360. 360 is already ahead of PS3 in America.

Japan will be better, but it's never going to be N.A/Others levels.
