Forums - Nintendo - Who has a Wii that is legit.

Ok, why would someone want to have dvd playback on the Wii? I have a PS3 that plays Blu-rays and upconverts dvds to higher quality. I also have a Samsung upconverter so I can have higher quality picture for the tv in my bedroom. Anyways, just thought I would ask :).

I have modded my Wii in every possible way, and you would be dumb not to do the same.

The only modification mine has was the replacement drive Nintendo put in there when the first one died

Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

mines unmodded

i'm proud to own a modified wii. I can play all VC and Wiiware games for free. I still buy games that i think are worth the money.

Modding is all Greek to me, I wouldn't know where to begin. It's something you do to be able to play foreign games, right? Yeah, mine isn't modded.

The same reason you would want DVD playback maybe. To watch DVDs.

mine is completely legit, like all my consoles.

I dont but my mate has a modded Wii and we were playing all kinds of great things on it just last weekend. From Dosbox games to Snes to N64 to DVD's to streaming videos and Atari games to NES to TG16 it really is even more fun than an out of the box Wii I have to say. I mean I dont condone this sort of thing but it is hardly suprising the Wii has such a large homebrew following wanting to take control of this wonderful little box
