Forums - Gaming - Xbox360 Purchase questions

So I was talking to a friend, and he said he had an Xbox 360 "Halo Edition" he didn't want, since he doesn't game (his dad randomly bought it for him). So I was thinking about buying it, since some of you may have read my comments before about my intentions of eventually buying one. Basically my question is.. how much is that Halo Edition 360 worth? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks. :)

When it was out it was like $400

They stopped production on it for like two years now though, so I am pretty sure It can't be worth any more than $300 if you were to buy it new somewhere. Anybody know the harddrive space on it? I think that is the biggest determining factor in its price.

What kinda retarded bundle... So I should just buy a normal elite?

Yea a 20 gig hard drive isn't worth much.

I'd still say it is worth $300 just because it is a halo edition, and they don't make it anymore. That is if its brand new.

Yea to be honest just go for it....the only thing that the halo edition has over the elite is a headset but that really isnt as good as an extra 100gb.

I never found the need for more than 20 gigs. If you were to buy that off your friend, you could probably get it for a little over 100 dollars. That is a pretty good deal.

either buy a brand new xbox360 or get your friend to give it to you with the receipt.

I recommend the receipt. Pretty sure Halo Xbox bundles don't have the jasper chip in them, so it could pull a RROD faster then expected.

When you decide,
get Gears,
You gonna have a fun time with that
