I'm so excited for this game; almost more excited than I am for R&C! Almost. 
I hated the first one. And I mean HATED it. I'm sure this one will be better though.
I'm not really sure about the premise of AC2 but is it like the first one? Where it's all Sci-Fi and shit? I hope not. Why not just make the game take place in the Renaissance?

What exactly was Sci-Fi in AC ?
The Animus ? Well that's a good way to explain why you're playing a dude who died a long time ago. You're playing Ezio for about 90% of the game and yes the game takes place during the Renaissance.

its sad to think this game and Ac would be epic if it didn't have the future theme kicking in but its own story.
I know people who just turned off their systems after playing AC and getting to the future scene

I really don't know why you people are so turned off by the future scenes.. It is the only thing keeping the game unique from a story perspective.
