yes nothing can beat MGS4 except maybe FF13

No game is perfect, especially the flawed MGS4.

However, it is still my favorite game ever :P

I've seen EDGE give a 6 or 7 to many a game that has recieved between 8 and 10 from every other publication on the planet...They're w*nkers seriously!!!

Why do people who would be buying it if Edge gave it 1/10 really care?

Hence the issue. Halo never deserved any 10s, but it got a lot of them.

Thank god the only game this gen that deserves 10s is getting them.

People that rely on a reviewer's rating, rather than the game's content as the determining factor if they purchase a game (or not) can miss out on so much.

Actually, their general score history seems to indicate a statistical bias: see this piece on SMG for some factual data analysis.

Of course this doesn't mean that the single reviewers are biased in the same way. It might very well be that slightly more generous people have always been in charge of the reviews of 360 and Wii exclusives, and slightly more stingy ones were responsible for PS3's.

But in the end it's their choice to not disclose the identity of the single reviewers, and thus we can only talk of the "Edge" collective persona.

Of course Halo is better than uncharted

let's see how many people will play uncharted after 3 years

its ignorant to compare a game that u will play for a week or two with smth that is #1 in multiplayer for years (and years to come..)

Out of all the reviews edge came out with the average score from them is about 62%, they pretty much give out the lowest scores, 9/10 is pretty good even though it clearly deserves a 10/10.

Uh, LittleBigPlanet (10/10)? Or Demon's Souls (9/10)?
