Actually, their general score history seems to indicate a statistical bias: see this piece on SMG for some factual data analysis.
Of course this doesn't mean that the single reviewers are biased in the same way. It might very well be that slightly more generous people have always been in charge of the reviews of 360 and Wii exclusives, and slightly more stingy ones were responsible for PS3's.
But in the end it's their choice to not disclose the identity of the single reviewers, and thus we can only talk of the "Edge" collective persona.
