they announced Gran Turismo Next or something as a launch game(you can look it up at ign E3 2005 coverage probably.
he's right he is delivering beyond gamer's expectations... everyone expected this title 3 years ago ^^
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Actually, after someone claimed there was a GT5 trailer shown at E305, I did some snooping around and here is the actual trailer shown there:
It was named Vision Gran Turismo, at it was a tech demo showcasing the view of PD for the next GT in the PS3, much like the vision S-E had for a next gen FF when they showed the FF7 tech demo. Notice how vision GT basically uses the GT4 engine with a few touch up, much like GT HD showcased when the PS3 released.
Never was it shown as a full game until the last E3 and never did it have a release date until last TGS. If you can find me a link proving otherwise then i'll be glad to say that I was wrong, but until then, it's all just speculation about old tech demos released by PD.

I didn't ask what i can probably do. I asked for a link. If you cant provide one for your claim i'll just chalk it up as another trolling comment in this thread. I doubt they said that GT5 in it's entirety would launch the same day the ps3 did while they release Tourist Trophy in the same half year.

LOL too bad this wont shut the silly little trolls up.
@letsdance
I wouldn't call them trolls, since I don't like using derogatory terms, but what saddens me is that I believe that most people who are picking up on PD and the fact that GT5 hasn't released yet, aren't even considering picking up the game or don't care much about PD games. The nay-say comments really show a lack of basic knowledge on how PD works as a developer, their release history, their plans for the actual GT5.
Also there's a small group of people who actually think they know better than the developers themselves and thus that gives them the right to surmount their opinions over the actual facts and details that PD have delivered to us, which is even worse than the nay-sayers.

The game is ready my friend. There was never any way they could be outshined by Forza 3, but it's obvious that something in that game made them push the release date back.
