Shouldn't the kid be dead or at least in critical condition? Second degree burns covering more than 30% of your BSA (body surface area) is considerd critical, and he has 80% of his body burned. That kid is so damn lucky to have survived. I hope those little shits are tried as adults and locked up. An apology wont cover the scaring the kid is going to live with for the rest of his life.

I like to add a story about a 12 year old kid who was protecting his friend from this other kid who wanted to steal his bike. But just when you think the bully gave up and left, he came back with a gun and shot the boy who was defending his friend. The way kids are raised these days their lives are doomed the minute you see how they're acting and trying to act *gangster*.

The article is mistaken. The kid only has 65% of his body burned and most of it is on his torso area. He'll be in the hospital for months trying to recover and probably years of therapy to get him anywhere close to normal.

And Please don't try to blame rap for all of the worlds problems. That's just fuckin ridiculous

I stand corrected, but i never intended to to jab at the hip hop/rap industry. I meant real gangs that are influencing todays youth. IMO i dont listen to rap but i dont hate it.

Terrible, and the dude is only 15. What kind of sicko would do this? I hope they rot in jail...And get raped...Brutally.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Ya I did too, but seriosly the attackers should be put to death, this is absolutly a heinous crime and the criminals have no place in a civilised society.

some of you dont live in fla... this is sadly halfway normal. i remember all throughout school every year somethign horrible happened and it seemed like every year it gets worse...some kids just dont give a fuck anymore and its half way the parents fault... :(

Florida teenager Michael Brewer was intentionally set on fire at a Deerfield Beach, Florida apartment complex and suffered second-degree burns over 80 percent of his body. Five youths from his school are in police custody.
80 percent of his body? The kid would be dead if this happened.
Not if they arent serious burns.

According to police, Brewer owed one of the suspects US$40 for a video game. This unpaid video game debt apparently led the suspect to steal the victim's father's bicycle, reports CNN.
The game cost $40? Well which console did he have? Most console games sell for 50 to 60, so the chances of it actually being a forty dollar game are slim.
I have plenty in my game cases at WalMart for all systems.

Brewer reported that the bicycle was stolen, leading to the suspect's arrest. The suspect was released from a detention center earlier this week on Monday morning.
No link, no proof.

The suspect and the victim did not attend school on Monday.
Again, no link, no proof.
School attendance records were probably pulled..

On Tuesday, Brewer was waiting for friends at an apartment complex when he was approached by the suspect. According to eye-witness reports and from what the juveniles have told authorities, the suspect screamed, "He's [Brewer] a snitch, he's a snitch" and "pour it on him." Another suspect then threw what's believed to be rubbing alcohol on Brewer, before setting the victim ablaze with a lighter.
There is nothing really to say about this. Those are some fucked up kids.

"A couple of them last night were laughing about it," said sheriff's Sgt. Steve Feeley. "One of them arrested today seems genuinely sorry about it."
Well just because they are sorry about it doesn't make what they did right.

One witness told CNN affiliate WPLG, "I saw a kid throwing something at the other kid, and next thing you know, the kid was on fire. He was up in fire."
This is hearsay, and would never hold up in a court of law. Guarantee it.

According to WPLG, an apartment resident extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher, and the teenager jumped into the complex's swimming pool.
Can't argue with this, I would do the same.

"In my 31 years — I always say, 'it's the most heinous crime I've ever seen,'" Broward County Sheriff Al Lamberti said. "This one fits in that category. The fact that a person would intentionally ignite another child on fire — it's indescribable."
Well then you need to get out more, Sheriff Al Lamberti.
A lot of smaller towns in FL aren't used to this.

Brewer is expected to remain in the hospital for the next five months to recover from his burns.

@ Garnett - how you gonna use my WHOLE NAME, yo?

And if you are gonna use a Nelly video, you gotta go with 'Tip drill' - and the best part is the credit card at the end - literally.
