The demo sucked

Try borrowing it or renting it and play it, am sure you will love it

The full game is a bit better, and it was patched later too, but it was never designed as a twitch shooter which seems to irriate a lot of players.

I like to think of it like an old Nightmare on Elm street movie dream sequence; when you try move faster but can't because you're wading through marshmallow...and there's someone just around the corner just waiting to turn you into carpaccio

for me, it adds tension which I enjoyed.

Friggin awesome game.

Can't wait for KZ3.

This is the game that I spent most hours playing on the PS3 so far. It's true the single player is under-rated - it's great fun and there's great replay value. Going through it on elite and it's also one hell of a challenge. Got to Salamun bridge, any tips?

Multi-player then is also great! Truly deserving of GotY, though I still have to see Uncharted 2.

Shooter of the year.

Moder Warfare 2 isn't even out yet and you're already calling it shooter of the year?

I assume you mean the first part, just stick to your left the entire time.  Rest of the level just stay back and kill until the enemies run out.

Yep the first checkpoint. Enemies seem to be re-spawning. But it's hard to push forward. Will have another go tonight.

it's easily the best shooter this year...not to mention one of the most intense gaming experiences ever.

art is the excrement of culture

A year after I got my Wii, I bought a PS3 Slim with two games: Uncharted and Killzone 2.
Though Killzone is by no means a bad game, I didn't think it was superb either. The story is very lame though it tries to be kind of dramatic at the end with some ethical tensions, but not good enough for my taste. It's multiplayer is great, no discussion about that, (you are gonna create imaginative insults after my following statement) but I definitely missed the fun I had with COD:WAW and The Conduit on my Wii. Motion control for FPS are unparalled. End of story.

They were my impressions after playing for the first few times, 2 weeks later I realised that it is really under average
