I, personally, always believed that Burnout Paradise and Dead Rising would good experiences, but to each his own I suppose. Also, this has to be considered subjective, there are plenty of games that someone may have thought was "surprisingly good" that others may not. -Condemned: Criminal Origins - STILL my top game of this generation. I knew it'd be good as survival horror game. I NEVER expected to enjoy it nearly as much as I have other survival horror games from past generations. |
Yup maybe I should have put my top 5 in the thread title but I do ask for other people's opinions which would indicate it is subjective like anyone's preferance of any game. In my opinion there's always someone who hates a game that someone else loves.
By listing the top 5 I meant games that were the best of hte ones that surprised you. Dark Sector might have been really good compared to what you thought it would be, but it may not be your top 5 surprisingly good games of the generation or it might.
And Condemned would be in my top 10 version of this list, I enjoyed that game a lot too.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
