good review, thankfully from the demo i played the game is very good.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
When I played the demo, it was too much ' swing one's axe / now loading / cut scene / now loading / play guitar / now loading / cutscene / now loading.
Action is butchered between too many cutscenes
If the game is like the demo it has some pretty big flaws though, and the gameplay is not completely painless either.
I think it has some awesome ideas, concept, music and humor... but....
It's obvious the actors didn't rehearse together, a lot of the vocal lines doesn't really sound like they fit completely.. some of them are awkward (when they aren't supposed to be mind you.) And the same actor can say 2 lines in a row that doesn't really sound like they're coming from the same person. The gameplay also feels a little stiff.. Lack of ability to jump and stuff like that..
Anyways after watching the IGN review it looks like it becomes a rts and stuff so I guess I can't judge it properly from the demo :p
surprising ..
from a gameplay point of view the demo didn't seem that good to me, although the gags are very cool
Well... it has to be better than most of Jack's recent movies.

Same for me, but the game they are describing is mostly an RTS or something in the style of Overlord...
thus the Brutal Legend demo with its run-of-the-mill axe and spell/ racing action apparently does a really bad job of depicting the final product.
I just hope they aren't being charmed by the style, concept and some acting to underestimate real gameplay flaws. I'll wait for many, many reviews.
I enjoyed the demo. It's exactly the kind of thing I would have expected from Tim Schafer. Don't expect a sequel though.
Why exactly do people cite playing the demo as reason to debate the high score? Have you learned nothing from Batman:AA, or Forza, or any Demo? They are piss poor ways to gauge the game. If anything I avoid game demo's of releases I want to purchase.
